Highland games are traditional games with a long standing in Scotland. Here is the 2021 calendar for Scotland.
May 2021
The highland games will officially start on May 9 2021. The Gourock Highland Games will be held on that day at Battery Park. The Gordon Castle Highland Games will take place on May 16 at the Gordon Castle Estate. The West Lothian and Blackford Highland Games will take place on May 29. Atholl games are set for May 29/30.
June 2021
Cornhill and Helensburgh and Lomond Games will take place on June 5. Strathmore and Ardrossan Highland games happen on June 13.. Drumtochty and Ceres Highland Games are slotted for June 26.
July 2021
Luss and Forres Games take place on July 3. The Kenmore event will take place on July 7. Alva Games will take place on July 10. Tomintoul and Lochcarron Games are scheduled for July 17. The Inveraray event will take place on July 20. Airth games are scheduled on July 24. The St Andrews event will happen on July 25. Arisaig games are set to occur on 28th July. The Dufftown and Halkirk Highland Games are scheduled for July 31.
August 2021
Killin and Isle of Skye events are scheduled for August 4. Dornoch Gathering will take place on August 6. Aberlour Strathspey and Aboyne are set for August 7. Bridge of Allan Games will take place on August 8. Ballater games will be held on August 12. Assynt and the Atholl and Breadalbane games are scheduled for August 13. The Abernethy games are set for August 14. Helmsdale, Bute and Stirling games are scheduled for August 21. Oban, Argyllshire meeting and Cowal Highland gathering are set for August 26. Glenurquhart, Strathardle and Lonach games are scheduled for August 28. Perth games close the month on August 29.
September 2021
The Braemar event will take place on September 4. Blairgowrie Highland Games event is scheduled to take place on September 5. The Pitlochry games close the calendar on September 11
